Why can't the Google certification exam run smoothly and without any errors? Isn't technology meant to make our lives easier?
Since these are relatively easy tasks they make it feel like I accomplished something even though I should probably be planning and building my courses in courseconnect. Here is a picture of my personal/professional website that I could also be working on. So far, I have done a relatively okay job using it as a repository for my publications and media interviews. Here is link if you want to click through it: https://michaeljlorr.com/ Not sure how I might use this in teaching, but my students always like to look at my website when I show them I have one.

DeleteI think editing would be better than simply deleting and the notes above staying. As far as I know there isn't a setting to prevent this but I will further explore.
DeleteExactly! I was really hoping to have a smooth run through my Google Education Exam on Monday. As you know, I was logged out after submitting my exam results. I still don't know that status... My fingers are still crossed.
ReplyDeleteRegarding my previously removed comment, It's good to know that that you can't edit your comment after publishing (I don't think). Also, it looks like "This comment has been removed by the author" stays on file for all to see as opposed to disappearing.
Agreed. I didn't have any technical trouble while taking the exam, although it did take a LONG time for google to accept my submission. I was surprised that I needed almost the whole time to take the exam.
ReplyDeleteI had some issues as well, but I did pass. I never received email confirmation of that, bu tit was listed when the ever-wise SMB suggested that I check my Webassessor profile. TBH, I had to search gmail for “webassessor” because I had completely forgotten about that profile page. #quarantinebrain (?)
ReplyDeleteI finally received an email confirmation of my successful exam attempt. On July 12, took the exam July 3rd.
